Summer Season Lawn Care Tips
Sir Walter Buffalo:
- Watering – Sir Walter needs a light watering each week during Summer. If you are aware really hot spells are coming up, try and give your Sir Walter a good drink in mornings and during the night of those days.
- Mowing – Sir Walter will need mowing every 2-3 weeks during Summer, do not mow below 40mm.
- Fertilising – Sir Walter will need to be fertilised during Summer to keep it green and healthy.
Couch Grass:
- Watering – Couch needs a light watering each week during Summer. If you are aware really hot spells are coming up, try and give your Couch a good drink in mornings and during the night of those days.
- Mowing – Couch will need mowing nearly weekly during Summer, and should be kept between 10-20mm.
- Fertilising – Couch will need to be fertilised during Summer to keep it green and healthy, use a high nitrogen fertiliser.
Kikuyu:
- Watering – Kikuyu needs a light watering each week during Summer. If you are aware really hot spells are coming up try and give your Kikuyu a good drink in mornings and during the night of those days.
- Mowing – Kikuyu will need mowing regularly during Summer to ensure no undergrowth shows up. It is best kept between 20mm and 40mm.
- Fertilising – Kikuyu will need to be fertilised during Summer to keep it green and healthy, use a high nitrogen fertiliser.
