For a green garden there’s that distinct feeling of satisfaction knowing that a lawn application has made you the talk of the street, and that your garden is the envy of your neighbours. The lawn application we’re referring to – our stocked lawn paint.
With the Seasonal shift in temperatures, we all love spending time outdoors, and something which can make your garden look better with almost instant results is our lawn paint.
What is Lawn Paint?
When your grass is underfed from nutrients, maybe heat or frost-affected, perhaps the kids have worn the grass out from playing, or the dog may have made some patchwork, lawn paint is the solution. Lawn paint is an organic “paint” which restores the natural colour of the affected patches of grass, and ultimately reduces watering requirements. It’s also great for when you need to sell your house improving those garden photographs.
How Long Does It Last?
This depends on a few factors, including how quickly your lawn grows naturally, and how often it gets mowed, but generally it will last anywhere from 2 -3 months.
When your turf goes brown over winter as it enters a period of dormancy, these products can enhance the colour of your lawn, but it’s advised not to apply lawn paint to brown, dead grass, as the grass blades are brittle and most likely to break and blow away in the wind, leaving unsightly dead patches of lawn.
How Do You Apply Lawn Paint?
Depending on whether you purchase the pre-mix or concentrated lawn pain, the application remains the same, whether you pay for a professional service or complete it yourself – all you need is a garden sprayer, your lawn paint, and set of simple mixing and spraying instructions, which can be found online.
If you’ve ever wondered how to make grass green, lawn paint is one solution, as well as fertiliser.
